Following a successful collaboration on their Hudson River residence a decade earlier, our clients engaged Michael Shannon Designs to reimagine their London home. For this comprehensive renovation, we brought on UK-based general contractor Moving On to facilitate the whole-house renovation. Here, no color, pattern, or material was considered off limits. A guest bedroom enveloped in snake-print wallcovering and a secondary bath clad in coral tile and dramatically veined Calacatta Viola marble exemplify the home's bold, adventurous spirit. These expressive moments are balanced by classic English detailing and timeless architectural elements, resulting in interiors that feel both playful and sophisticated. The result is a distinctly British home—elegant, individual, and reflective of its owners' willingness to embrace fearless design.
