Graduate Hospital Townhouse

After living in their fully renovated Philly row-home for several years, our clients sought to create additional living space. In collaboration with Buccellato Studio and Hanson Fine Building, we achieved this by extending into the backyard garden, opening up the home, and expanding its footprint. With the architectural work complete, the focus shifted to interior detailing. Custom millwork was designed to meet every functional need, including a TV mounted above the fireplace and a thoughtfully integrated dry bar. Black painted glass conceals barware, while hidden refrigeration is seamlessly tucked below. To unify the space, the walls and adjacent staircase were clad in the same rift-cut oak as the millwork, creating a cohesive and warmly modern interior.
